The Atria Academy of Science and Medicine is the advisory fellowship of the Atria Research and Global Health Institute—a growing body of 100+ renowned scientists and clinicians committed to transforming medicine across disciplines.
Directed by Dr. David Dodick and Dr. Greg Poland, this nonprofit think tank brings together exceptional minds across aging and longevity science, neurology, cardiology, oncology, mental health, genomics, digital health, artificial intelligence, metabolic disease, infectious disease, integrative and preventive medicine, human performance, and health equity. What unites this group is a belief that working together—across specialties and across borders—accelerates discoveries and extends their reach.
Fellows advise on the design of modern preventive health care strategies and interventions; engage with an unprecedented longitudinal database of phenotypic, molecular, genetic, and imaging data; and collaborate with a global network of colleagues in medicine, public policy, and public health. The Academy is equally committed to making the science of prevention freely available to clinicians, researchers, and the public worldwide.
It is a community of international leaders who understand that the most important advances in human health transcend any one discipline or any one country—and we act on that belief for the benefit of all.
Dr. Dodick is Emeritus Professor of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic where he founded and directed the Headache and Sport Neurology and Concussion Programs at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He is a Mayo Clinic Distinguished Investigator and Distinguished Educator. He is the Chair of the American Brain Foundation and Chair of the IHS Global Patient Advocacy Coalition. He is the Past-Chair of the American Migraine Foundation, former Editor of Cephalalgia, and a Past-President of both the American Headache Society and the International Headache Society.
